| Job description: |
A Development DBA required to provide expertise in design, development, implementation and support of the database its associated software stack. You will liase with development, setting standards, designing and implementing frameworks, liasing and working closely with the Infrastructure teams.
The successful applicant will require experience in as many as the following skills:
6+ years working in an Oracle/Sybase environment as a development DBA,
Oracle Database Administration knowledge and practical skill set,
Shell scripting, J2EE framework and SQL experience,
Infrastructure aware, AIX (pSeries technology),
Data warehouse, data mart experience,
Modelling tools, reporting tools,
Websphere/MQ series
