Job description:   We have been retained by a Fortune 200 client to hire for their various challenging opportunities. We have an immediate opening for an ERP Common Platform Project Manager. This person can be located in either Pittsburgh, PA or Raleigh, NC.

The primary function of this position includes but is not limited to:

Oversees operational goals and implementation standards for the Enterprise Common Platform portfolio.

Provides IT program planning, coordination, and communication.

Drives business process excellence.

Identifies and documents key business processes that should drive the functionality of the enterprise application.

Creates and maintains a program communication plan Creates and maintains application maps for the program.

Measures and evaluates usage of enterprise application(s) through surveys, focus groups, and other relevant evaluation tools.

Consistently uses IT Program Management Office (PMO) processes and tools Researches and suggests IT and business process modeling best practices.

Works closely with other Program Managers to ensure programs are implemented successfully.

Works closely with Business Process Design Team manager and process owners to ensure that implementation project quality and systems availability meet business needs and corporate objectives.
Job Qualifications:

5-7+ years experience in managing Information Systems projects or programs.

Bachelor's degree required.

MUST have experience managing multi-module ERPs (e.g. Oracle Applications, SAP, JD Edwards, etc...) implementation projects, preferably at multiple manufacturing facilities.

Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Posess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience developing or training mainframe, client server, or web-based systems.

Ability to motivate to meet strenuous deadlines and remain positive under stressful and sometimes negative conditions.

Ability to secure and utilize resources within client's Electrical who can provide business process information and clarification when needed.

Must incorporate current and strategic business objectives into department goals.

Ability to devise and implement creative solutions to business process or software issues.

Establishes and maintains good working relationships with managers in other departments and business units (Plants, support centers, and sales districts) as well as peers within the Information Technologies department
