Designing and developing Oracle applications and providing support for the applications.
*Eligibility for government security clearance is required. Note: Minimum qualifications for government security clearance are: 1. US Citizen or US Permanent Resident 2. Must have lived in the US for 4 of the last 5 years
This is a contract- to-perm position
Principal Responsibilities:
Projects Processes
• Work with Solutions Architect to create technical designs and data models
• Develop and implement Oracle applications.
• Provide support for applications.
• Contribute towards improvement in processes and quality.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development. 6 years experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience with RDBMS concepts.
• Minimum 4 years of solid Oracle development skills.
• Minimum 2 years experience in OLTP and/or OLAP development experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing Oracle Forms Oracle Reports applications.
• Experience writing Oracle programs for reporting, analysis and content management is preferable.
• Experience in designing and developing data models is highly beneficial. • Strong analytical ability, technical skills, team player, communication and writing skills.
EDUCATION:
• Minimum qualification is a Bachelors degree.
• A Masters degree is not essential but will be considered beneficial.
• Area of concentration in college should be Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or allied disciplines.
