The ideal candidate for this role will have +2 years Oracle PL/SQL, +2 years Unix (HP, Solaris, AIX) and +2 years Oracle 8+ experience.
Experience of Configuration Management Software (Source Safe or Similar) is also required. The duties of the role involve System Design and Specification, Software Development (Full Lifecycle), Technical Documentation, Problem Investigation and resolution. As well as the aforementioned duties your role will also involve an element of support. This includes receiving details from the helpdesk of problems and making development changes to the system to help resolve the problems, then updating the Configuration Management Software to Log all Source Code Changes. |
