Oracle Apps- Technical Consultants- NAIO India
Oracle India -NAIO division is looking for Strong Oracle Apps Technical Consultants to be based out of our North America India Operations ( NAIO) .
North America India Operations
In early 2003 North America Consulting made the decision to open a dedicated offshore consulting center for North America. Less than a year later, in December of 2003, North America Sales and Consulting (NASC) extended the division of the offshore consulting center to create the North America India Operations. The new NAIO organization includes separate groups to support Consulting, Outsourcing, Field License Sales and Shared services. To drive efficiencies, these groups are supported with the shared service approach (Field Readiness, Operations, Administration, Sales & Marketing, QA, Tools and Infrastructure etc.)
Description:
The individual in this position will be responsible for providing production support on Supply Chain (PO, INV, MRP, WIP, BOM) or Order Management, Advanced Pricing and Shipping Execution applications.
Assist end-users with resolving all production related problems.
Enhance Oracle application according to user requirements. Perform system set-up and conduct user training.
The individual in this position will also be responsible for ERP Optimization. Utilize disciplined project methodology for continuous evolution and optimization for the Oracle solution.
Conduct business analysis on problems and determine root causes.
Determine and document business requirements and design appropriate solution.
Design and develop appropriate interfaces to meet requirements.
Analyze implemented solutions, refine and enhance designs and solutions. Collaborates with fellow team members to achieve divisional and corporate goals.
Experience:
The individual qualified for this role will have:
· Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field of study;
· One + years experience with Oracle Financial modules, Supply Chain modules or Order Management, Advanced Pricing and Shipping Execution modules;
· One+ years experience supporting Oracle Applications end-users in a production environment;
· SQL/+ skills and knowledge of the Oracle APIs are required;
· Experience working with Oracle Support on TARs;
· Experience with integration to bar-coding solutions a plus;
· Three+ years experience working with project life cycle methodologies;
· Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to multi-task effectively;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Experience in a manufacturing and/or retail environment desirable.
