Experience in windows services development highly regarded, well rounded programmer to fill a serious development role.
The primary purpose of this position is analysis and programming for the maintenance and enhancement of the server software.
We are a small company where all of the employees work closely as a team, and everyone is expected to pitch in and help where there skill set allows.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
• Carry out tasks as defined by Team Leader or Project Manager
• Programming real solutions in a rapid development lifecycle
• Fixing defects raised by both internal and external clients
• Analysing and developing Change Requests raised by both internal and external clients
Required skills:
• Extensive C++ programming for Microsoft Windows Services
• Sound working knowledge of the SQL language with a preference for Oracle’s flavour of SQL (inc. PL/SQL)
• Strong problem solving abilities.
Desired skills:
• HTML & ASP (using VB Script)
• Oracle Pl/SQL
• Microsoft’s MFC
• XML, WSDL, Web Services
