Our client - a large global consultancy have a requirement for an Oracle 9i Designer and Data Migration Architect.based in Dublin.
Job Profile
•Database designer & Data Migration architect
•Analysis and Design
•Experience in Data migration projects
•System Development and Implementation – Analyse requirements and design the database
•Co-ordinate development and testing activities with offshore development centre
•Expereince in defining procedures and process for DB devlopment and migration
Qualification
•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
•Master Degree in Computer Science (Preferrred)
Experience
•4-5 years of I.T experience –
•Oracle Developer experience – 9i
Skills Expected
•Database design experience
•Migration Methodology and scripting experience
•AIX Unix operating system
•PL SQL, SP development hands on experience
•Experience in 3 tier architecture (J2EE-Oracle)
•Good coordination and client liasoning skills
•Experience of working with Remote teams
•Experience in project execution methodologies preferably in a distributed development environment.
•Should be well trained in Quality Management processes
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Life Insurance and pensions systems experience is preferred
