Job Description : Consultant to provide excellent Consulting services to our Distribution Industry clients, specializing in Finance Transformation service offerings that include: financial process improvement (in the areas of financial transactions, decision support, financial reporting and snalysis), shared services experience, business process outsourcing, business case development, finance function best practices/benchmarking, finance transformation experience, project management experience, team leadership experience. Candidate must have requisite hands on experience of 3-7 yrs industry experience or 2-4 projects involved in process design and migration to a Shared Services Center. Relevant process experience must include functional expertise in at least one of the following: Record to Report (general accounting, journal entry, financial close) or Order to Cash. Must have process skills experience. Also have either relevant enabling technology experience (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Hyperion), or relevant Distribution Industry Experience. Additional Information : Candidate must have requisite hands on experience in the Industrial Sector: if sourced from industry, then at least 3-7 years experience either working in shared services environment; if sourced from consulting, at least 2-4 projects involved in process design and migration to a shared services center. Will leverage experience with strategic vendor applications (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) to integrate process improvements and technology solutions.
It is expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the (designated) following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.
