ALBANY MOLECULAR RESEARCH, INC. (NASDAQ: AMRI), a leading chemistry-based drug discovery, development and manufacturing company, focusing on applications for new small molecule prescription drugs, has an opening for an IT Business Analyst - Manufacturing at its facilities in Albany, NY.
Primary responsibilities include all activities related to configuration changes to Oracle manufacturing business processes including tracking, researching and resolving all change control requests. Other responsibilities include evaluating manufacturing business needs and objectives and providing well-defined plans to the IT Database Manager, planning and managing database projects, maintaining an understanding of both Oracle ERP OPM capabilities, advising area leaders on current and anticipated system capabilities that enhance current/proposed business processes and practices, planning database architecture, implementing new databases and maintaining security.
Requirements include a B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, 5 plus years of computer database related experience within a cGMP regulated environment, experience with Oracle E-Business Suite OPM, Linux and Windows Servers Databases, plus project management skills.
