The Oracle Applications Order Management/Contracts Business Analyst will manage the functional operations of Oracle Applications 11i, specializing in Order Management and Service Contracts. Act as functional area expert within Oracle Application 11i. Seeking team player, outstanding communication skills and customer service, able to stay on task when working independently.
3-5 years of experience with OM-Service Contracts
Provide functional support for Oracle Applications 11i in the areas of Order Management and Service Contracts. Assist in the functional implementation of Oracle and upgrade of current modules. Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
Understand what functionality is available as well as what has already been implemented. Advise on new solutions for enterprise business applications integration and functionality activation. Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. Provide end-user instruction and support to resolve application issues. Provide resolution to support issues, and responsible for escalation procedures while retaining ownership of the issues. Manage Service Requests with Oracle Support.
Write user documentation for new applications. Develop training materials and provide training to new users. Guide users in the implementation of business processes. Provide detailed business requirements specification for developers, process definition outlines and flows, maintain and update application specific process documentation and end user training documentation.
Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades and train and document processes.
Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for Oracle Applications 11i, including new implementation. Solid knowledge of flex fields, setup and profile options.
Experience with executing simple SQL queries and understanding the underlying structure of the most common Oracle Applications tables.
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels.
Solid understanding of Order Management and Service Contracts and its related business.
