Data Warehouse Consultants (www.dwconsultants.com) is seeking an Oracle Applications Analyst III.
Oracle Applications Analyst III
Position Description: The Oracle Applications Analyst is responsible for the functional performance and data integrity of application modules within their area(s) of responsibility. The Analyst provides design and development of technical solutions for Oracle Applications, including conversions, extensions, interfaces and reports. They will possess a deep understanding of the Application technical architecture. In addition, they will apply a high level of functional knowledge in one or more of the E-Business Suite Families (Financials, Manufacturing, Order Management, CRM, etc.)
Responsibilities:
•Design and develop technical solutions for Oracle Applications extensions using Oracle recommended frameworks or tool sets, user interface modifications, workflow customizations, and reports.
•Develop and maintain technical design documents for solutions by translating business and data requirements into architecture component functional specifications.
•Assist in the setup, design, and technical configuration of E-Business Suite Family modules deployed or being deployed by the company.
•Provide technical analysis and recommendations regarding the E-Business Suite database schema.
•Apply knowledge and experience with Open Interfaces and APIs for the design of technical solutions.
•Assist in managing the day to day Enterprise Applications operations and application support requests to ensure smooth operation of applications.
•Provide written and verbal feedback on status of work efforts as well as status reporting of day-to-day production operations, overall systems/data issues, and system performance.
•Ensure that the company's applications are delivered toward the company's core purpose, consistently with its core values, and in support of planned business growth and objectives.
Qualifications:
•BS or MS in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent
•At least 5 years professional experience providing Enterprise Application support and/or implementations in an Oracle E-Business Suite environment.
•Solid business background with minimum 3 to 5 years IT experience in most enterprise functional areas.
•Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 or R12 Financial, Order Management, Manufacturing, and CRM, family modules.
•Strong technology architecture knowledge and setup experience with the above family modules, including, but not limited to: Oracle schema, open interfaces, data conversions, data interfacing, organizational structure, APIs of Financial, OM and Trading Community Architecture.
•Experience with the design, implementation and administration of E-Business Suite in an international multi-organizational environment.
•Understanding of Business Processes utilizing Oracle Application Flows across the E-Business suites.
•Experience with the AIM Foundation, AIM for business flows, and EMM Upgrade Methodologies a plus.
•In depth understanding of integration alternatives including EDI and XML and how to apply the alternatives to the Oracle E-Business Suite.
•Experience with Oracle Development tools, including PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, BI Publisher, JDeveloper, Workflow Builder, BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Applications Framework.
Skills:
•Ability to troubleshoot application client issues and provide effective user support.
•Ability to perform application testing and validation for review of updates and upgrades.
•Ability to manage new systems development projects with day-to-day support responsibilities and deliver assigned projects within established time, scope and budget parameters.
•Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work equally well with user community and internal IT staff.
•Passion for learning new technologies and applying new knowledge experiences.
•Highly energetic, flexible and self motivated with attention to details.
•Ability to understand business objectives and the infrastructure that supports it.
•Self motivated individual with excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
•Thorough knowledge of design principles used within the enterprise.
