RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume role of Functional Lead in the installation, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle 11i HRMS/OAB/PR (Human Resources/Advanced Benefits/Payroll) modules and future modules in related areas
Evaluates the functionality of the systems and recommends solutions that meet business needs
Gathers end-user requirements for the HRMS/OAB/PR systems and serves as a liaison to the IT Dept. And Oracle Team
Delivers end-user training in HRMS/OAB/PR
Creates key HRMS/OAB/PR business reports using database-reporting tools
Ensures data integrity
Troubleshoots and resolves system problems encountered by end-users
Works with Oracle support to resolve application related issues
Performs detailed business process analysis and maps to Oracle Applications functionality to aid in problem solving and implementation of solutions
Works with end-users to analyze and re-engineer complex business processes
Produces ad hoc reports for HRMS/OAB/PR from internal and external requests
Tests patches, upgrades, new releases, and work-arounds before approving a move to production system
Provides first-level support to HR department staff for other HR software applications SearchSoft Applicant Tracking System ; eSchool Solutions Substitute Employee Management System ; and KRONOS and the related interfaces to Oracle
Updates and maintains salary schedules using standard processes and APIs
Documents Functional and Technical procedures in HRSM/OAB/PR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree required
Preference given to majors with concentration in MIS, Human Resources, and/or Payroll management
Experience with and strong knowledge of Oracle 11i HRMS/OAB/Payroll applications
Experience in writing reports using Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Reports 6i and PL/SQL preferred
Knowledge of and experience in Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll for organizations with 1000+ employees
Preference given to candidates with experience in public school Human Resources, Benefits, and/or Payroll including Texas state reporting requirements, e.g. PEIMS, TRAQS, etc.
Ability to organize and analyze data, work processes, work flow, data storage and retrieval, and records management in Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll
Experience with opening, tracking and resolving issues with Oracle Support.
Ability to create test cases and scripts for the testing of custom reports, patches and updates.
Exhibits Project Management skills by managing tasks assigned to internal and external resources.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of costing process and integration points with other eBusiness 11i modules
