Yoh IT has an opening for a Technical Analyst to play a key role on our customer’s initiative. Our customer is looking to standardize its business processes. To achieve these important changes, a new software platform - based on Oracle Lease Management - will be implemented across all the business entities. This is expected to be a 3 year initiative. The Technical Analyst is responsible for detailed configuration and management of the Oracle Financials system. The Analyst is expected to provide technical expertise in systems analysis, systems design, and implementation in order to support activities in the development and production environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Design
• Responsible for understanding business requirements that relate to the Oracle Financial applications and the development of technical solutions to meet those requirements.
• Develop and review extension designs to insure compliance with DLL business requirements.
• Insure application configuration decisions meet global implementation requirements.
Project
• Determine ideal configurations for the Oracle Financials applications.
• Develop and analyze test scenarios and test plans.
• Create, maintain, and manage Technical Assistance Requests (TARs).
• Respond to issues raised during testing and conference room pilots.
• Assist Extensions Manager in insuring extension solutions do not create maintainability issues or application conflicts.
• Assist Conversions, Interface, and Reports Manager in Financial related issues.
• Assist the IT department in developing staff training and education initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and other credentials:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Finance, with significant technical experience.
• 5+ years experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, particularly the Oracle financial modules.
• 2+ years experience in either Oracle framework or Oracle applications development.
• Experience with the development of global systems a significant plus.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry a significant plus.
Technical/Functional skills and knowledge:
• Skilled in financial reporting development.
• Knowledge of Oracle reporting capabilities: standard reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Reports Developer, Application Desktop Integrator, Oracle Financial Report Generator.
• Must have experience in setting up multiple operating units, multiple sets of books, and international configuration (multi-currency, multi-language setups).
• Knowledge of Oracle programming technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow.
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Mercury’s TestDirector.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
