Systems Analyst / Senior Systems Analyst with Oracle Applications experience (Manufacturing modules)
Location: Little Neck/Melville, N.Y.
Department: Information Services ** Manufacturing Applications Support
This position is responsible for partnering with the Functional Business Units (FBU) and operating departments on a project basis to provide business and systems support.
Major Functions
Define, recommend, build, implement and document solutions to customer problems and requests.
Prepare Statements of Work and Project Plans.
Perform high-level analysis and complex programming.
Develop and maintain sound client and Information Management working partnerships.
Independently manage small to medium complexity projects
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and recommending design solutions
Ability to work and innovate independently and with others
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to implement solutions that meet targets for accuracy, quality, cost and timeliness
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience with Oracle Applications in Manufacturing modules (Any or combination of P/O, WIP, MRP, Standard Cost, Inventory, Engineering, BOM, PLM)
Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, TOAD, SQL*Loader, UNIX
